The Foundation’s purpose is to conserve the natural and cultural heritage by fostering harmony among everyone involved, protecting this legacy for future generations and for humanity.
We strive to carry this legacy forward by encouraging a respectful coexistence between human activity and the species that inhabit the ecosystems of the territory.
WHAT WE DO
At Cerro Guido Conservation Foundation, we focus on the conservation of the territory’s heritage, encompassing two main areas: natural heritage and cultural heritage.
These areas are further divided into different categories where we are actively working and taking action.

We train guardian dogs to prevent conflict between ranchers and predators.

We carry out conservation, restoration and rewilding projects.

We generate knowledge and collect data from long-term practical research.

WHERE ARE WE?
Cerro Guido Estancia is located in the Magallanes and Chilean Antarctic Region, in southern Chile, 105 kilometers north of Puerto Natales. Covering more than 100,000 hectares, it borders Torres del Paine National Park to the west, Argentina to the north and east, and other cattle ranches to the south.
