This video was filmed by Simon Reeve during his visit to Cerro Guido, capturing an external and honest look at the Cerro Guido Puma Project.
What does coexistence really look like?
At Cerro Guido, pumas sit at the top of the trophic chain, sharing the landscape with generations of sheep farmers. This project was born from that tension.
Through science, camera monitoring, and fieldwork, we work to understand puma behaviour and reduce conflict with livestock. But conservation here goes beyond data — it is also about people, culture, and dialogue.
The project has sparked real change: long-standing practices evolve, conversations happen over mate, and new ways of relating to wildlife take shape. The goal is clear — to protect biodiversity while respecting Patagonian ranching culture.
